1st: There is not a lot of profit for the dealers on Camaros. I think even the SSs are only abut $1500 in profit but they have the dealer holdback of 3% of MSRP.
2nd: Having said that it is hard to believe that he really expects you to pay sticker for a Chevy that has been out for 2.5 years now. I would go to another dealer just based on that. He doesn't value you as a customer and is looking to stick it to you.
3rd: My sister went to go buy a '07 Honda Pilot and Rick Hendrick Honda told her that they were selling for MSRP. I called the other Honda store and they offered us $6500 off list. She bought it from Rick Hendrick for $6500 off list.
