In Greek mythology, he was the god of technology, blacksmiths, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, metals, metallurgy, fire and volcanos. I think it's amazingly appropriate for many, many reasons.

First off, there's the technology angle that I've already mentioned. The men and women who assemble these awesome machines for us could be considered modern-day smiths. Then there's the fact that the ZL1 is going to be the ultimate blue-collar hero-car (craftsmen, artisans, sculptors). Though it's a metaphoric interpretation, I think the ZL1 is hella metal. Lastly, one of the original Camaro commercials featured fire and depicted the Camaro rising from the ground as if it was erupting from a volcano.

How does one pronounce that?

HAY fes tus?

HE fay stus?

Do tell!
