Oil Pump issue. Is the L99 just as prone?

Ok so over the summer a lot of members were reporting that their oil pumps would fail due to a stuck relief valve. Oil pressure would subsequently drop and some unfortunate members even suffered catastrophic failures. A solution to this problem was to "shimmy" the relief valve to prevent it from getting stuck. Originally I thought all 6.2's had this issue, but then a member in the thread below stated that L99's actually use a different pump, one with a "wider pump gear".

Does that therefore mean that L99's are immune to this oil pump failure or not?

See post #19 and 20.
