Question: Do you need this if you install 40 series flowmaster on your camaro.

Two pipes from each side of the engine. They have two cones in the pipes i labeled in red. What are these and do i need them if I put flowmasters. Also there's not much room underneath for the flow master, do you put them near the rear bumper?
