I know you are putting in a lift at one point. have you thought about putting an under car tunnel in the garage (like at most shops? with metal grating overhead so the car cant fall into the channel, but you dont have to mess with the lift to get underneath it.
I've got the pdfs from their site. there was another company doing something similar that put their blueprints online. and another company did the same with a "hidden flatscreen tv" system....

car tunnel/grating does not sound too apealing.. I am not a quaker state. haha
