Where I work, they dig a hole in a 55 gallon barrel, first fill with gravel, then they put a H&K 40 and a Glock 17 and then fill with dirt. Our academy is in a very rainy, humid part of the US. After about 10 weeks or so, (somewhat middle of our basic academy) we bury them out, put in new ammo and they shoot perfectly. I put mine through dirt, wind, sometimes water, bashing against my car door, bouncing against cell doors(using the minimum force necessary to subdue the subject

), and I bashed it on the way out of a static repel off a chopper, just qualified expert last week. H&K 40. the way to go. I'd buy one, but you all (taxpayers) already did! Thanks!
