If one was to mod the LSA in the ZL1 with more boost, even if it took a 2300 transplant, what would need to be done to the bottom end?

Are forged pistons all that would be needed or should rod bolts, rods, etc. be upgraded? How much power and torque do you suppose it could be made to reliably handle? Has anyone researched this yet?
IMHO - you need to establish your goals and expectations first. If you're looking for 700 FWHP, you should be fine with the LSA bottom end with a good tune. You're going to see eleventybillion negative posts about hyper' pistons in a few minutes and most of those always leave out the fact there are oil-spraying nozzles for LS9/LSA to help with the heat and it's not like these are standard LS3 pistons in there. There's lower compression so detonation can be kept at bay for longer. It's already got a forged crank and PM rods.

What's you goal?
