I did two heavy even coats. I did notice one thing. I bought two cans of the stuff. I did three of the bezels using the one can and they came out with more of a glossy look. I did the last bezel with the other can and it came out much more textured, so I had to redo it with the other can. Maybe that is the problem. Take a look at my second picture. This is before I re-did the fourth bezel. See the lower right bezel. I don't know how well you can make it out, but the texture is much ruffer than the others in the pic.
