To change oil, I use ramps! I get on the ramps by myself, using a hand-held mirror to see the left front wheel as it goes up the ramp.
To jack one side at a time for brake work, etc, use either the intersection of the cross-member and frame, or a piece of wood just inboard of the pinch weld, where the emergency jack would go if you had one.
