I used the red el wire. It is definately more orange than red, which is somewhat disappointing - I am looking for more red. I am going to try painting the wire with some clear red paint to try to darken it up some, but that will be another day.

One of the main reasons I chose the tube was to make sure the wire was always straight (which makes the light more uniform)... What I didn't realize, was that I had a way for a quick and easy replacement of the wire should I need to.
After some time with this wire, we've found out that it tends to have " dead " sections after the car has been exposed to long periods of summer heat... As
010 Camaro SS mentioned, we changed his out in about five minutes. He should be good for another year or longer.
Really, anyone who's doing this mod SHOULD buy a few extra connectors, and of course the extra wire for your inventory
