Or for 32 bucks you can replace it. #19 in the pic. There are more than 2 bolts on each side holding this on. Look up underneath the front bumper, there are plastic bolts holding it on the whole width of the bumper.
Back in, or stop short. Feel for you, mine has some rubs on it too.
