i finished my header install today and started it up and it sounds great

And then i hear something that didnt sound quite right :( when i rolled the windows up and turned the radio off i could hear something when i turn the steering wheel it sounded like a power steering pump that was low on fluid and i knew that wasnt the case so i start looking to find out what was wrong with it after a couple of mins i see that the steering shaft is hitting the second to last pipe on the drivers side

i thought it wasnt hitting bad and would probley just rub enough to quit by the time i got out town but i drove 30 miles or so and its still doing it just as bad. has anyone had this problem out of the 2" stainless works headers and if so what did you do about it? im going to try to put a very small dent in that pipe and see if i can get it to clear, if i cant im going to take a file and rub a small grove in the steering shaft where it is hitting its not hitting bad so a very small grove sould take care of it without weaking the shaft no more than what it would have to come it want hurt anything but thats only if i cant dint the pipe witch i sould be able to do. any ideas other than mine?

1 7/8" headers would not have hit.
