However- 1/3 of SS was upgraded/improved for ZL1. The tranny is probably the same (or
very closely related) as CTS-V's (the same goes either A6 or M6). The rear is a new cast-iron case with probably a 14-bolt differential. The rear cradle bushings have also been improved.
That's a scratch on the surface of what's been improved for ZL1
