But you realize that allot of it will still be dispersed throughout the engine if you run it to get it warm. It was warm when you shut it off last and had allot of time to drain all the way to the bottom. Then all that's left is in the pan and filter. And if you really want it drained leave the plug out as long as possible. 2-3 hrs. to get it all.
OP>> how cold where it's being stored are we talking? Fuel additives are good for certain temps and below. Otherwise a waste. Remember top it off (DON"T OVER FILL!) and that minimizes air in the tank which causes condensation and leaving water in the tank. Once you put the cap on the tank is essentially sealed. Good luck.
