Unfortunately every stock brake pad I've ever used has produced less than an optimal amount of brake dust.
On my old Jetta I upgraded the rotors and (more importantly in this topic) the pads to some that produced less dust.
I forget what brand they were, but for the euro cars they were well known and commonly used amongst the enthusiasts.
I'd recommend finding out what those pads are for us Camaro enthusiasts and get some. If it bothers you enough.
I don't really mind much. I love my car (long time) even when it's dirty.
