Hopefully you're right and it's not a standard feature. I agree there are some people who might prefer this roof. There are probably people who would like bumper guards and a factory tissue dispenser too. I doubt that most of those are car guys, let alone Camaro guys.

Watch the generalizations there. There are plenty of car guys who want more out of their car than just a big engine. I'm a car guy through and through, and I want a sunroof. And there are plenty of people on this site alone who like it too. The fact is some of us want a more open top for a commute on a nice day, but still want the body rigidity and lighter weight that comes from having a coupe rather than convertible for the days we go out on the track.
