My dad was going to swap his winter tires on his soon, and there is no menu option to relearn on the 2012. Perhaps they removed the text, and you can still initiate the manual relearn process. If so, that would be fine.

I'll see if maybe we can try it when swapping.
I will find out for sure if it works this weekend. I just know it asked me a question like "are your sure you want to continue" and when I chose "yes" the horn honked. Like I said earlier, I was thinking it just might reset the tire pressure readings, but what would that cause a "are you sure" question to come up and the horn to honk.

The old way was to let pressure out. That used to work. Never has there been a way for it to actually do a relearn without the tire pressure drop or the tool. Several people on this forum and other forums for other GMs have tried the tire pressure drop and it hasn't worked with the newest cars. The dealerships and Chevy customer care confirmed this. Several people with earlier 11's have had the tire pressure drop work. Hitting relearn, doing nothing, and then not having an error doesn't mean it did a successful relearn of the sensor positions.
I'm hoping it has relearn capability. Hopefully letting air out works.

I will definately check this out tonight or this weekend and report back.
