I can't get the fuel line disconnected above the intake manifold. I'm using the blue 3/8" disconnect tool from Advance Auto. Rail is drained no fuel.

I push the lines together hard, push the tool in, pull the line... nothing, still hung up on the flare. Any hints? Should I be pushing the tool in harder while pulling on the line? Feels like the tool just pushes in and bottoms out, then pulling on the line - nothing is releasing?
