In AIT, you are only allowed a vehicle if your training is over a certain amount of time. I believe its somewhere around 30 weeks (for the army at least). Also, the majority of Intel training takes place on Fort Huachuca, AZ. That goes for all branches. So you may want to check on that as well. When i went through intel school, the only branch that wasnt represented was Navy. There were very few of them there. However, all the other branches had a large amount of people at Fort Huachuca. I actually lived right across the basketball court from the Marine Corps barracks. I actually had to pull fireguard duty in there a couple of times.

Anyways, long story short, alot wil ldepend on where you go for training. Fort Huachuca is VERY laid back from what I saw of it (17 weeks and 4 days there). So we had our weekends free and alot of us spent our time around town in Sierra Vista. Some guys had cars and they never got in to any trouble even though they werent authorized since we didnt meet that 30 week mark.

All in all, i reccomend waiting until you get back. Definately get a camaro. They are awesome lol. I love mine and will soon be upgrading to an SS once im back from Iraq in a month.
