All I know is make sure you go to someone that knows your hair well and what they are doing. I have naturally curly hair (I straighten it) and it's really really thick. I had a cute chin length cut in mind, and well, the lady chopped off all my hair!!!!! It was buzzed in the back and everything. I cried for 3 days!! My hair grows really slow and it's barely to my shoulders and that happened a year ago. Never again is she allowed to touch my hair, not even a trim!
