I think you will be fine building Camaro for now. In order to build the 4 to 2 door sedan to compete with Camry and Accord, you have to make it as affordable. We know Malibu beats those two but, families don't have the money right now for a new car as it is. You have to build what is in demand in the current market. Believe it or not, Camaro is in demand.
Another observation, They can't keep the Challengers on the lot here at a local dealer that is not in a very lively or afluent part of Florida. So there is a demand for Pony cars right now. Sure, Camaro sales alone won't save GM, but the Family guy will show up to showroom to see it and then see Malibu or G8 right? You will be fine my friend.
