If you preordered a Camaro, your car will have long been produced and delivered before bankruptcy will cause you any problems. I do wonder though how everything will pan out in the end. What divisions will stay and who will go? And how the current employees will be dealt with. It will not be good on any level for the employees.

In the long run, what's best for employees is to work for a company that makes money. If union contracts are killing the goose that lays the golden eggs (GM), then goodbye and good riddance to hefty employee benefits.
