I know that Kelle Chevrolet in Farmingdale, NJ was listed as a dealer that would sell at MSRP or below. Maybe this post should be in the PRICE GOUGING DEALERS thread, but I figured since they're already in this thread I'll update their status. I sent them an e-mail and this is the response I got:

Thank you for your inquiry on a Camaro. Our allotment of 2 vehicles has been filled with two sold and committed orders however I understand that we have earned 2 additional vehicles that are base Camaros and are scheduled for shipping within a 2 month time frame. Since they are going to be filled stock orders you cannot specify your vehicles options but may be interested in one of these vehicles. After these two orders and 2 stock vehicles are sold and delivered we will be able to fill specific orders for our customers but that may not be until early summer 2009. Yes these vehicles are going to be marked with a minimum of $1000.00 over MSRP. Yes a deposit would be required to lock in one of these vehicles or to place the special order if you wanted to wait for the later time frame. Your deposit on a specific order or to hold one of the inbound vehicles would hold that vehicle until it arrives and you OK the order for delivery which would have to be done in a t! imely manner. Your trade could be apprased for its current value but its actual value would be determined at the time of delivery of your new vehicle. Obviously if it is a few weeks the value would stay the same but if there is a larger time spread the value of vehicles only goes down as time goes by.
