It doesn't get
that hot during the summer. Last year, the temps got into the lower 90's all summer but never got above 100. A few years back, temps were consistently over 100. It has been really nice lately.
Now...if you are going to leave your car out in the sun all day long, it'll get hot as heck....and a lighter color sure wouldn't hurt. Plus, you really should use those sun shades in the dash. If you are parking it in a covered garage, don't worry about it. Look at my sig. I have a black SS and it's no problem really in the summer.
