For what it is worth, I mentioned this thread to my tuner a couple of days ago. He said from what he has noticed, all the SLP cars and almost all other "performance package" blower cars that offer a warranty have tunes that leave a LOT on the table. Obviously they have to warranty the car so they put VERY safe tunes in them. So much that if the car gets heat soaked from running at the track the tune goes so limp that it is probably only making 400 hp at most. That would definitely explain decent dyno number but then it falls on it's face at the track.
