So I'm at the the local BP filling up my baby Lola (With the best octane of course.) So I decided to let the top down and enjoy the nice little sunlight we have today in the Chicago-land area. So he starts admiring my car, asking me price, this and that, so I humor him. He then tells me "Yea I just got these cheap two fours on it right now, I'm waiting for Spring to throw on some eights (28" wheels) Then 5 beautiful girls a Suburban pull up next to the LT (My car was on the other side of the pump so they didn't notice it at first) and the girls jump out and glance at the guys car and look away quickly, then as they're walking into the store they spot my pure stock 2011 2SS/RS Convertible with the top down and walk up to me and ask me "Is this the SS?" So I say yes, then the girl out of nowhere tells her friend "This a 2ss with 425hp V8 (It's actually 426 and I have an A6 so its 400hp, but credit for her knowing.) Then she asks me if I'm with the other Camaro owner, and I told them it was just a coincidence. She thens asks me to hit the gas, so I did. And she gets the biggest smile on her face and says "I Love your car." The girls all admire it for another minute or so before I pull out, and as I'm pulling out I can see the Lt owner with the saddest look of confusion on his face...So that made my day. Sorry for the long story, just had to share it. Anyone had any experiences like this?
