Thanks for your detailed look into a TR6060. I've been following this issue and everyone's stories since last year about this time when I noticed mine for the first time. My 2GG is intermittent but only appears in the cold weather in the first 2 or 3 accelerations of the day or on the way home after sitting all day. With colder weather approaching the south, this is more on my mind lately. Has there been any update to GM's status regarding recognition of a systemic issue or are we still being handled on a case by case basis?

In the event a service department recognizes an issue with a particular 6060 is the 2nd gear blocker ring the only item that must be replaced? Is that the only item they will replace?
