A couple of years ago I was weather delayed at Dulles and sitting with an Army Captain. I asked him about his 'business' travel. We compared some travel notes. I expressed my respect and thanks for his service. He then explained to me why my travel was harder than his.
You travel alone and are away from your family. I take my family with me. His compassion, perspective and service left an indelible impression.
