Don't do it bro.
First of all you're not going to need your own car in college. It'll be more of a hassle than a convenience.
And it WILL get damaged. Mysterious dents have a way of showing up after Friday nights, stuff gets poured on it etc.
As a fellow college student, my advice is no. I miss mine, but I'd rather know he's safe at home.
