I think you will have no problem since the race is starting from a roll. The top end power of your car is enough. I'd suggest manually shifting the car and start in a gear where you are already in the power band (probably 2nd).
It would be a different race if you started from a stop. The AWD STI will accelerate from you at the beginning and you will slowly pull on the car as speeds increase.
