Yet another first timer, though hopefully not to be thought a troll...

I was curious to see myself how far off this had to have gone, and figured I'd share.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/27990934@N04/6475382431 will show you Google Earth views of the cannonball's path as seen both from the bomb range and from the first house hit; that gives you an idea of the slope we're looking at and how wildly this must have gone wrong. There's also a link from that to the Google Map itself if you care to use it and make your own judgements."
