If you're racing from a roll, its important to know the L99 A6 tranny's weak spots.
Just over 50mph to 60mph or so is a weak spot for an L99 A6. It puts the A6 at a low rpm in 3rd gear (not good for a roll start).
You would be much better off starting the race at 45 mph or so or up higher around 70mph.
45 mph puts the A6 in the sweet spot of 2nd gear. Also up around 70 mph, puts the A6 in the sweet spot of 3rd gear. But down around 55- 60mph is a bad speed to start a roll race in an A6.
