Has anyone used either one of these brands, and how did you feel out on the road? How long is the life on these two brands? I drive all city miles (backroads to work). I need something I can feel safe in when going through the snow and ice. I live in a SW suburb of Chicago.

They are VERY good. go for it! I think the pirellis will last an extra season or 2 over the Blizzaks
