Either one should work, but if course the lower the offset the better.
I have them on 18x11 wheels with 48mm offset and the tires still have about 1/2" (12.7 mm) clearance on the inside. The 18x10.5 wheels with 58mm offset wheel will sit 4mm (.157") farther in (
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp) so they should only have 8.7mm (.342" just over 1/3" of clearance which is cutting it close but still ok).
Obviously the lower the offset, the more clearance you will have on the inside.
