That 14 second difference is after countless runs to get that time. That 14 seconds is a world of difference. Just like the Zl1 is within 19 seconds of the GTR, And some Viper ACR, ZR1, and Z06 Carbon times. Does that mean the Zl1 will "very well could run the same time with the same driver, on the same day, under the same conditions"? Probably not a chance in hell.
The point is that just small differences in time on the ring are substantial, and it separates classes of cars and supercars.
