The runner length play a vital role in creating a torquey power band in the low to mid rpm. Some cars come with variable intake manifold that has a short and long side where a valve will open and close according to the rpm in maximizing low and high end power. Too long of a runner and you can kill the top end, too short and you can kill the lows. I think we can go even higher before worrying about the top end but 25mm seem to be the highest we can go within the stock enviroment. This mod can definitely be considered a bang for the buck poster child.
