Had my 2000 SS limited out three times at about 258 km per hr. Thats close to 155 mph. It was risky but I know the roads where I did it and had the run for it. No lanes, trees, ditches, etc and clear vision for about 4 km. I have also had my 2006 Yamaha R1 close to the 300 kph mark (180 mph), I took my 2007 ZX10R up to just over 305 kph, I tell ya, it's friekin crazy at that speed, you can only look way ahead and hope for your periferal vision to serve you well....but oh what a rush, talk about adreneline !!

The 2010 Camaro is supposed to be limitied to the same speed as the previous gen, I don't know if I will attempt those land speeds again. I lost it on my ZX6R 636 Kawasaki at the track last year twice....once got cut of in the turn at 170 kph and again after I healed the bike went into a speed wobble topped out at the end of the straight away......at about 220 kph...yikes, yes, I was bed ridden for two months!
