My brother was awakened after midnight by a neighbor who was cutting up scrap aluminum siding with a saw. Think about how loud and the time he chose to do that. My brother went over to where the guy was in the yard and told him to stop as he had to get up and go to work in four hours. They had words and my brother left while telling him that if he had to get out of bed again, there would be a physical confrontation. The guy called the cops on him. The cop asked if he had threaten the guy, he admitted he had and told him why. The guy was standing at the edge of the road yelling "Whip my ___ now!" The cop turned and yelled at him to get in his house and if he started to saw up that siding again at this time of the night, he was taking him to jail.
I always thought everyone has the right to do what he wants SO LONG AS IT DOESN'T AFFECT SOMEONE ELSE NEGATIVLY. After reading this thread, I'll add one that I made up, " Everyone has the right to be stupid, some just chose to abuse that right."
