If you ever resell your car, you won't want the rattle to scare off potential buyers. The vibration kit has no impact of how the shifts feel, only the annoying rattle goes away. Most cases, even with your hand on the shifter knob, when you accelerate hard between 1-2 and 2-3, you will hear the rattle. Some cars however don't rattle at all without the fix.

Glad you did all this with Hurst...but...the reason I didn't put mine on was after reading Hurst's own "disclaimer" on the instructions and their web-site...I just re-read it (wish I knew how to attach it!!!) but it "warned"
don't use it unless noise is excessive, it will change the feel and performance of the shifter, etc.....just saying, hurst doesn't claim it will eliminate completely all noise, etc...thanks
