Otherwise, all stripe installs would require removal of the spoiler to apply the stripes to an area that no one would ever see. Plus GM would have to include an extra piece for just the part that goes on the spoiler.

Embalmer took pics of his dealer-installed stripe package. A close look of the instructions shows 3 separate sections - Hood, Cargo Lid, and Spoiler.
