You are correct.....I kick myself everyday for forking out 1100-1200 for my Borla catback. I was too excited about having my Camaro and wanted a better sound......I premature ummmm bought the ATAK without searching first (I swear honey that never happens....I just got excited).
Had I read the forums sooner, you are correct I would've done a muffler delete. (I did buy it from you BTW, fast shipping, fair market price, no complaints)
The CAI I bought for $349. Had some "points" from a vendor. I love the look....hate the K&N.
After some research on headers and comparing, you are correct, I became "Walmart". I came oohh so close to buying ARH LTs, but I just couldn't do it. The price was very fair when compared to SW and Kooks (I think $1200ish, give or take $50), but when compare to other brands I felt it was overpriced. The performance and value of OBX, Stainless Power (?), or Texas Speed is GREAT when compared to he high priced headers...Just my opinion of course
I am very happy with my purchase.... I did the install myself. Very straight forward and easy....fit like a glove
