I can say that if you are building a setup to go fast in these cars, its very expensive as making a 4200# car go fast is no easy task. This is just my .02

Sometimes the extreme HP#'s just come with the territory, and is up to the owner to make a common sense decision to de-tune or end up in a ditch when taking the on ramp @ 6.5k/rpm. LOL
The fact of the matter is most people (including myself) who mod their vehicles (even for the track), won't use half of the available performance abilities because they're all amateur race drivers doing it for entertainment value not for salaries.
In my case I could have built a 427ci. NA, or for FI (no real substantial cost savings either way), so why not do it for FI, and throw on my already purchased blower. Not my fault it made 1100hp. that I can't use most of the time.
