Not directed at anyone but this is my opinion:
Its just as bad to think your self worth or your car is measurable by a time slip as it is on a dyno. Life isn't measured in 1/4 mile increments or while strapped to a barrel. Or the number of mods in your signature is a competition or bragging rights. Or the mount of money you did or didn't sink into a car.

I build my car for me and my own personal enjoyment and use. I could care less what other people think of how it looks or how fast it is. The only measurement that matters to me is how big of a smile I have when I drive it. The rest is just someone elses insecurities or inferiority complex and their attempt to project it on me or my posessions. I don't have any friends that think life/possessions are a competition; they're not my kind of people.
