The reciprocating assembly is forged, so 15psi isn't all that crazy. My car runs 22psi with cast hypereutectic pistons. 15psi on one engine does not equal 15psi on another. The 5.8 is probably running lower compression than the LSA and with forged internals can dance the fine line of detonation more safely. It's very, very unlikely that the zl1 with bolt ons will put down nearly the same power you'll see out of a 5.8 with bolt ons.
