Or the number of mods in your signature is a competition or bragging rights. Or the mount of money you did or didn't sink into a car.

I build my car for me and my own personal enjoyment and use. I could care less what other people think of how it looks or how fast it is. The only measurement that matters to me is how big of a smile I have when I drive it. The rest is just someone elses insecurities or inferiority complex and their attempt to project it on me or my posessions. I don't have any friends that think life/possessions are a competition; they're not my kind of people.

i used to think it was funny too. then the first time i drove my car down the track with it sc'ed.... i didnt find it funny. it's VERY hard to control a car that is spinning drag radials at 1000'. Yes many times a car with a lot less power will get a better time. then some might say"well sure you can get that time, all you do is point it and press the pedal".

im the highest rwhp at my shop, but not even close to being the fastest and im at the track atleast 2x a month. if i wanted track times i would have bought an automatic.......then thats a whole new topic there.

i say who cares as long as its what the owner wants?
