Not necessarily. Sports cars and passenger cars are lighter and have better technology behind them than the cars of the '70s when the last energy crisis hit. The guys that are going to be in a heap of trouble are the ones who love driving big heavy trucks without any practical use for them (no business or family purpose for owning one). Believe me, I know and see alot of guys who drive full size pickups and SUVs who don't need them. That's a significant share of the market and why trucks got so popular in the late '90s. That market will die out and the industry will have to scale back on the Durangos and Yukons.
