as much as it can take and the 5.4 (5.8) from Ford can take way more than the LS3.
Sure you can juice any stock engine up to make 1000hp but how many runs before it breaks? What people are saying is, on stock internals, bump both engine up to 700rwhp, Ford's can "safely and reliably" handle the power much better than the LS3.
