And, the 10/11 times it's bacon.
I can't even count how many times I was repimanded (and account disabled) because I said something someone didn't like about the ZL1, and I have a 2SS fully loaded with every single option I could buy, and spend more money on Camaro SS upgrades than 99% of all the members on this board. If I'm getting slaughtered on here for not agreeing to all the hype and I've got a new SS, you're practically going to me mechanically separated into chicken nuggets if you say the slightest thing against the ZL1 and your driving a Pontiac (not that anything wrong with that, but it's not a 201x Camaro).
I like the car also (ZL1; to some degree) just as much as the next person, but I don't believe all the marketing BS because I've researched so much of the performance upgrades and know the deal when it comes to what's out there in the aftermarket vs what's OEM in terms of quality and performance of superior materials; So, I want to see it, drive it for myself first, before I come to any conclusions considering I've learned so much about the SS on my journey to acheive a certain level of performance I thought it would already have off the dealership lot.
Dude, don't sweat it; Now that all the facts are out those of us that don't believe all the hype are redeemed.
With all they hype about fancy traction controls, SC, et al, the numbers are out and although a superior ride it barely beats an older car. Now I understand that can be argued 1mil. different ways, but the facts are the facts and that can't be argued with which has always been my position (let's wait and see the results and do the comparative analysis, and see what's coming next from Ford and GM).
