Custom painted wheels, need opinions.
I dropped off my wheels to a painter to have them custom painted. I have a black 2010 2SS/RS and below is pictures of my car and the wheels. The painter is waiting for me to tell him how I want the wheels painted. I am having the face of the spokes painted gold to match my hockey stripes. Not sure if I want the outside wheel lip painted gold, and/or the screws and the flat piece the screws go in to.
What custom paint scheme can you guys recommend? Is painting the outside lip (about 1" wide) and the face of the spokes enough? How about the spokes, the outside lip, and the flat area that the screws go into? The other option I've considered is leaving the outside lip original and painting the flat area with the screws. The problem with the outside lip is there really isn't a good paint line to paint to and I'm concerned how it will turn out.
