Congrats on your ride. I have the same model and I can tell you that it is the most solid well riding car I have ever owned. Smooth through all power ranges, good power, good gas mileage just to name a few.
As soon as you can, get up underneath it (safely) and take a look around. Chevy has it laid out much like the cars I grew up with. V series motor with room to work on it, transmission right behind the motor, driveshaft to rear differential. Exhaust (
may as well call them headers with the design) both look identical and are laid out evenly towards back of the car. It sure is nice to see this after I have been messing around with imports for the last 20 years which looked like someone had way too much Sake while designing it.
